80+ Newspapers = A lot of Advertisements
I just want to stop by and give an update on myself. About a month ago I got a job with Gannett, which owns 80+ newspapers. I, along with some other talented graphic artists, design the ads for these newspapers. If you could imagine all the advertisements you see in one newspaper and then multiply that by 80, then you’ll get an idea of how busy I’ve been. I’ve been working from 3 pm until 2 or 3 am Monday through Friday and some random hours on the weekends. I really love my new job. And after being unemployed for a whole year, I am soaking up all this overtime. Needless to say, I don’t have a lot of time to write blogs. But, whenever I find the time I have plenty to write about.
